Our Y-cable means you can hook up a second solar panel to make your pump more resilient to drops in solar irradiation.

This IEC Y-cable is compatible with SF2 pumps purchased after November 2021 and SE1 pumps purchased after June 2024.

Note: If you purchase a double solar unit, a Y-cable will be included free of charge - you do not need to purchase one separately.

Future pump and solar setup

Wonderful pump system; meets all our needs; the cable for the solar panel could be longer, enabling moving the panels into a spot where the sun is located rela=tive to the pump. My only issue.

Thank you for your great review Fred. We have chosen the current solar panel cable length to work for most cases, however, we are aware that some situations have a shaded area near the water source. For this you can purchase one of our 10m extension cables which will give you more flexibility over where you can put the panel.
