SF2 valves are found inside the pump cylinder. One is placed on the bottom cylinder cover and one on the piston.
The valve can become dirty or worn overtime and you will notice reduced efficiency in pumping. If you notice a reduction in efficiency and see upon checking the valve that it has become a ‘saucer’ shape then it will need to be replaced.
